We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert Organizers Announce Lineup

Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Elvis Costello, Paul Simon and Jennifer Hudson are among the performers on the lineup for We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert. The show presented by New York City, impresario Clive Davis and Live Nation will be held on the Great Lawn in New York City’s Central Park on Saturday, August 21.

Eighty percent of the tickets will be distributed for free with VIP tickets also available. The free GA and VIP tickets will be released in batches through the Homecoming 2021 website starting on Monday, August 2 at 10 a.m. ET. Additional batches come on Tuesday, August 3 at 7 a.m. ET; Wednesday, August 4 at 9 a.m. ET; Thursday, August 5 at 7 a.m. ET; Friday, August 6 at 10 a.m. ET and Saturday, August 7 at 9 p.m. ET. Presale VIP tickets can be purchased by Citi® cardmembers beginning this Thursday, July 29 at 10 a.m. ET here. Citi® is also giving away 1,000 GA tickets starting on Monday, August 2 at 10 a.m. ET on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jon Batiste, Andrea Bocelli, Kane Brown, LL COOL J, Lucky Daye, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Cynthia Erivo, Jimmy Fallon, Wyclef Jean, Journey, The Killers, Gayle King, Don Lemon, Barry Manilow, the New York Philharmonic, Polo G, Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas complete the list of confirmed artists/celebrities aboard for We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert.

Ticketholders will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the concert grounds. “This is going to be an historic, monumental moment for all New Yorkers and all Americans. I’ll put it plainly: You’re going to want to be here. This is truly once in a lifetime and we thank Clive Davis, Live Nation and Danny Meyer for all their efforts to help make this possible,” stated Mayor de Blasio. “This is a celebration of our city, of every working family who faced incredible challenges last year and overcame. This is a celebration for you.”

The concert begins at 5 p.m. ET and will be broadcast worldwide by CNN.
