Watch Goose’s ‘Austin Powers 2’ Themed Halloween Concert: Pro-Shot Video

Goose shared pro-shot video featuring their recent Austin Powers 2 themed Halloween show. The concert took place at The Palladium in Worcester on October 31, 2021.

Each year, the Connecticut-based jam quintet devotes its “Netflox & Chill” Halloween shows to different films. Goose’s Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me concert saw the band dress as characters from the second installment of the Austin Powers movie franchise and fit songs from the 1999 film into the evening’s setlist.

Quincy Jones’ “Soul Bossa Nova,” Tommy James’ “Draggin’ The Line,” The Who’s “My Generation,” Neil Diamond’s “I’m A Believer,” The Guess Who’s “American Woman,” Steppenwolf’s “Magic Carpet Ride,” Devo’s “Whip It” and Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers’ “Just The Two Of Us” were each covered by Goose on Halloween in Worcester. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me featured R.E.M. taking on “Draggin’ The Line,” The Monkees’ “I’m A Believer,” Lenny Kravitz covering “American Woman” and characters from the film performing variations of “Whip It” and “Just The Two Of Us.”

Goose also played a number of originals on Halloween, including “Earthling Or Alien?,” “A Western Sun,” “So Ready” and “Hot Tea.” Additionally, the five-piece served up “Seekers On The Ridge Part 2” after performing the first part the prior evening and dusted off the fast, original “All I Need” for the first time since December 7, 2019 as their encore on Halloween.
