Umphrey’s McGee Announces Colorado Tour 2022 Including Red Rocks Concerts

Umphrey’s McGee confirmed a series of four June 2022 tour dates in Colorado. The sextet’s run through the Centennial State includes two nights at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver.

Up first is a performance at Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon on June 16. Umphrey’s McGee then returns to Red Rocks in Morrison for shows on June 17 and 18. lespecial opens the first night with Andy Frasco and The U.N. kicking off the action on the second night. The band’s “Peak Summer” excursion ends at Gerald Ford Amphitheater in Vail on June 19.

Umphrey’s McGee first played Red Rocks on July 2 and 3, 2005 as part of The String Cheese Incident’s Big Summer Classic traveling festival. Next came a co-headlining gig at the scenic venue with moe. in 2006 and a set opening for Gov’t Mule in 2008. The sextet made their headlining debut at Red Rocks on July 3, 2010 and came back each summer since except for 2020.

Tickets for Umphrey’s McGee’s June run in Colorado go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 14 at 10 a.m. MT. An Umphrey’s Ticketing pre-sale starts on Thursday, January 13 at 10 a.m. MT and continues through 10 p.m. MT. umVIP packages will be up for grabs on Wednesday, January 12 at 10 a.m. MT.
