Spoon confirmed details of their 2022 U.S. Tour dates in support of Lucifer On The Sofa, a new studio album set for release via Matador Records on February 11. The Austin-based band will spend the bulk of the spring on the road with shows in April, May and June featuring support from Margaret Glaspy and Geese at select concerts.
Up first for Spoon is a one-off at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California on February 8. The tour then starts with a swing through the Northeast that includes shows in Boston on April 6, New Haven on April 8, Richmond on April 9, Washington D.C. on April 11, Philadelphia on April 15 and New York City on April 16. Next, Spoon heads to the Midwest for concerts in Detroit on April 18, Chicago on April 19, St. Paul on April 22, Milwaukee on April 23 and Columbia (Missouri) on April 25.
The April portion of the excursion ends with a headlining performance in Wilmington, North Carolina on April 28 and an appearance at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival on April 29. After a few weeks off, Spoon returns to the road for concerts in Denver on May 24 and Salt Lake City on May 25. From there the band hits California for stops in Napa on May 27, Sacramento on May 28, San Francisco on May 29, Solana Beach on May 31 and Los Angeles on June 2. The tour ends in Arizona after shows in Tucson on June 3 and Phoenix on June 4.
