Rose Ganache To Release New EP ‘Madness From Two’

Rose Ganache, the indie, alternative Charleston duo of MeShell Wolf and James Coburn, will release their new EP, Madness From Two on Friday, November 12. The album nods to 1990s alternative rock with progressive guitar sounds, strong vocals and features Umphrey’s McGee’s bassist Ryan Stasik and drummer Kris Myers.

Wolf and Coburn have been working closely with music industry icons such as the album’s Executive Producer Marc Brownstein of the Disco Biscuits, as well as the Grammy-winning team of Ray Bardani and Tip Wyman of Wyman Records.

“Working with my Lively students James and MeShell to help create a professional sounding album was one of the great thrills of the pandemic,” Brownstein said. “We sourced some of the best live and studio musicians in the country, the rhythm section from Umphrey’s McGee, which allowed James and MeShell room to build well-crafted pop songs over a solid and pro professional foundation.”

“The entire experience has been an exciting, thrilling ride for the both of us,” Wolf and Coburn stated. “As songwriters and modest local musicians, working side by side with some of the country’s most respected and experienced is incredibly thrilling.”

Rose Ganache will celebrate the release of their first studio album with an official listening party in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina at Fatty’s Beer Works on November 12 at 5 p.m. ET. The event will feature a live performance from the band that will include special guests Stu White (Doom Flamingo) on drums and Tim Khayat (Runaway Gin) on bass. The event will provide food, drinks, official album merchandise and additional live music with Thomas Kenney (Doom Flamingo, Oukuo) closing out the night with his project the TK Trio.

The South Carolina record release event follows the band’s free, virtual Lively appearance taking place on Thursday, November 11. The streaming platform will host a live conversation with the duo where fans can learn about the project, the creation process of forming Madness From Two, and hear an intimate acoustic performance.
