Phil Lesh confirmed the lineups for the upcoming Phil Lesh & Friends residency at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Members of Dawes, Fruit Bats, Bonny Light Horseman and Hiss Golden Messenger are among those performing with Lesh, who will also reunite the Phil Lesh Quintet lineup as part of the nine-show run spanning October 11 through October 31.
A rotating lineup of “Friends” will accompany Lesh on October 18, 19 and 20. Participants include Joe Russo and Benmont Tench, as well as Stuart Bogie and Amy Helm on October 18 and 20, and Fruit Bats’ Eric D. Johnson and his Bonny Light Horseman bandmate Josh Kaufman, plus Midnight North’s Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck on October 19.
The shows on October 29, 30 and on Halloween were originally supposed to be held in honor of Phil’s 80th birthday in March 2020, but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Phil-O-Ween” shows at The Cap feature Phil joined by Grahame Lesh, Dawes members Taylor Goldsmith, Trevor Menear, Griffin Goldsmith and Lee Pardini and — on October 29 and 30 — Hiss Golden Messenger’s MC Taylor. The show on October 31 will also include Nicki Bluhm, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams.
Tickets to Phil Lesh & Friends’ October residency at The Capitol Theatre can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
