Virginia’s own Kendall Street Company will spend February performing weekly shows at five different venues within the state. All told, the band will play 20 shows in 28 days to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
The Milk Bar in Blacksburg will host KSC each Tuesday in February with Wednesday performances coming at The Golden Pony in Harrisonburg and Thursdays at Martin’s Downtown in Roanoke. Additionally, the band will play Rapture in Charlottesville each Friday next month and The Camel in Richmond each Saturday.
Kendall Street Company welcomes back former keyboardist Price Gillock for the first such jaunt in the group’s history. “I’m incredibly stoked to tour our beautiful home state of Virginia for the month of February,” stated KSC guitarist Louis Smith. “This state has nourished us since we were wee lads running around in the Charlottesville foothills. Virginia is home. Virginia is for lovers. We love Virginia. Can’t wait to gallivant across this great state!”
