Greensky Bluegrass Cancels New Year’s Run 2021

Greensky Bluegrass canceled their upcoming two-night New Year’s Eve run of concerts in St. Louis after members of the band’s team tested positive for COVID-19. The jamgrass act was slated to play The Factory on December 30 and 31 (New Year’s Eve).

The Mighty Pines were aboard as support on the 30th with Sam Bush serving as the special guest on the 31st. Refunds will be processed automatically.

“We are extremely disappointed and upset and we are also very sorry that this is an inconvenience for a lot of people with plans and just frankly for a lot of people that need to get out and shake some shit off, including ourselves,” said GSBG mandolinist Paul Hoffman in a video message posted on the band’s social feeds announcing the decision. “We should be all quarantined and good to go for the Denver shows the following week,” Hoffman added in regards to the group’s January 7 and 8 concerts at Mission Ballroom.
