Dave Matthews Band Dusts Off ‘Sugar Will’ & ‘Pig’ In Noblesville

Dave Matthews Band wrapped up a tour stop at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on Saturday. The septet treated fans to the 2021 debuts of “Sugar Will” and “Pig” within their 21-song performance on the second night at the venue formerly known as Deer Creek.

Last night’s show began with the second “You Never Know” of 2021. DMB then played oldies “One Sweet World” and “Seek Up” before looking to their most recent studio album, Come Tomorrow, for “Can’t Stop.” Next came “Where Are You Going” and “Funny The Way It Is.” Matthews and company followed with their first “Sugar Will” since July 19, 2019.

DMB continued on with “The Stone” ahead of the frequently-paired run featuring “So Much To Say” into “Anyone Seen The Bridge” into “Too Much.” Next, Dave led his mates on “Walk Around The Moon,” an original debuted on opening night of the tour. “Pig” then saw action after nearly two years on the shelf and gave way to “Minarets.” The beloved “Lie In Our Graves” followed before a partial “Kill The Preacher” came ahead of “Why I Am.”

“Jimi Thing” has featured jams on Huey Lewis & The News’ “I Want A New Drug” and Prince’s “Sexy M.F.” in 2021 and last night’s version was no exception. Staples “Everyday” and “Grey Street” then brought the main set to a close. Dave Matthews Band returned to cap the night and visit to Noblesville with classics “The Song That Jane Likes” and “Don’t Drink The Water.”

Dave Matthews Band now heads to Syracuse for a concert at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater on Wednesday. Watch fan-shot video featuring the tour debuts of “Sugar Will” and “Pig” below:
