Charley Crockett Performs ‘Goin’ Back To Texas’ On ‘Austin City Limits’: Exclusive Video Premiere

Charley Crockett will appear on Austin City Limits in an episode broadcasting on PBS on Saturday, October 30. JamBase is pleased to premiere exclusive video footage of Crockett performing “Goin’ Back To Texas” live at The Moody Theater in Austin.

Crockett, who is a native of San Benito, Texas, will be making his ACL debut. His appearance included selections from Crockett’s latest album, Music City USA — which includes “Goin’ Back To Texas,” as well as from his tribute album to the late Texas musician James “Slim” Hand. Recently named the Americana Music Association’s 2021 Emerging Act Of The Year, Crockett was joined by his band The Blue Drifters.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Brandy Clark will appear on the same ACL episode as Crockett. Check local PBS listings for region-specific ACL air times or stream later online at PBS.org.
