Woodstock resident and author Kerrie Baldwin will read from her groundbreaking memoir of anorexia recovery, titled I, Dragonfly: A Memoir of Recovery and Flight, which released in March. The new book chronicles Kerrie’s perilous two-year journey of recovery from anorexia as an adult, which she juggled with the demands of her three young children and freelance career. While most of the 25 to 30 million Americans who struggle with an eating disorder will never truly recover, Kerrie embarked on a long, surprising, and inspiring path to wrestle this deadly neurobiological condition into remission. In addition to reading excerpts from I, Dragonfly, the author will discuss eating disorders, engage in a Q&A session, and sign copies of the book available for purchase at the event.
