A time-honored event returns to the hamlet of High Falls when the community will gather to celebrate the 2017 High Falls-Marbletown Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The seasonal ritual takes place on Saturday, December 2, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the corner of Route 213 and Second Street in High Falls.

Celebrants will gather at the tall evergreen tree in the center of town, adjacent to the former Depuy Canal House and future home of D&H Canal Historical Society Museum. The ceremony is free of charge and is open to all Hudson Valley citizens.
