KINGSTON, NY — On April 4th, 2018, storytelling non-profit TMI Project (in partnership with Bard College) will present #blackstoriesmatter–inspiring true stories and monologues about Black people surviving and thriving in the Hudson Valley–for the school community as well as the general public. The performances will be followed by a panel and facilitated community discussion about race, identity and inclusion. In addition to providing a space for the audience to process the deeply intimate and stirring performances, the post-performance discussion will allow the audience to tackle hard questions around race and community, and offer suggestions and tools for taking action to create meaningful change. #blackstoriesmatter@Bard is open to the public & all local college students are encouraged to attend.
