Visit your local McDonald’s Restaurants in Western New York and North West Pennsylvania on October 15th for a special one-day celebration of your spare change and support!
October 15th is an extraordinary day. It is the day when the entire RMHC global system commemorates the opening of the very first Ronald McDonald House®.
Last year, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) around the world helped keep over 7 million children and families close to the care and resources they need to thrive, thanks in part to the change donated by McDonald’s customers.
The RMHC Donation Boxes found in local McDonald’s Restaurants are one of the biggest ongoing fundraisers for Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY. Your spare change – no matter the amount – can help create big change for families and children in our community.
The nickels, dimes and quarters you donate when you visit McDonald’s help RMHC of WNY give families access to quality health care as well a place to sleep, eat and cope while their children are hospitalized. Last year alone, more than $120,000 was collected in the counter and drive-thru donation boxes.
A full donation box could let a family stay together at the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House for up to 11 nights while their child receives care at nearby hospitals.
