Dutchess Outreach will be honoring Dutchess County Association of Realtors, Dutchess County Interfaith Council, and the Clarke Family – Owen & Linda Clarke and Beth Clarke Cookinham at their Sixth Annual Brunch at 12 pm Sunday, September 23, 2012 at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie. Tickets are $65 each or two for $120. A silent auction and a technology raffle will be held during the event. This year’s event is also celebrating the Lunch Box’s 30th Anniversary. The Lunch Box provides hot mid-day meals six days a week to thousands of Dutchess County residents each year. Evening meals are also served between 10 and 15 times a month, depending on funding and volunteer availability. Just last year, Lunch Box programs and our staff/volunteer team served over 100,000 meals, with more than 250 people each day receiving nutritious food. For some of our clients, their meal with us may be their only meal of the day.
