The Cairo Piecemakers Quilt Show not only allows visitors to see beautiful quilts but gives you the chance to win a door or raffle prize as well. Your attendance also helps support the work that we do for our community. The $1 donation and the raffle proceeds help cover the costs of the charity projects that we do. Some of the projects that we have done include quilts for victims of Tropical Storm Irene, for survivors of domestic violence,and for our wounded military troops overseas. We have also made walker and wheelchair bags for veterans, placemats for home bound seniors, pillowcases for those affected by a cancer diagnosis, cloth dolls for children undergoing surgery and many more projects. Come to our show, enjoy our quilts and support these worthy causes.
