She starred in PURLIE, which earned her a TONY Award for her portrayal as “Lutiebelle”. She was nominated for a Grammy Award for ‘Best New Artist.’
Her latest album entitled, “Forever Moore”, was released on her new label, A’Moore Music, Inc. An American trend setter, she sets the bar high. She is currently in the planning stages of her return to Broadway and Television and is working on an autobiography detailing her achievements
over the span of her career.
She has a deep passion for children, especially those who were abandoned, abused, and born with AIDS and addicted to crack. She is committed to giving of her time to organizations involved with children.
